During 1947, in ■■■■■■■, New Mexico, A peculiar object was discovered. The object was cylindrical, with a diameter of roughly 20x20 feet.
After discovery, agents were dispatched, and a fake story was given to the public that it was a crashed weather balloon.
However, the object of interest was discovered in the center of the Craft, presumed to be extraterrestrial.
The object itself is made of basalt, with carvings in it dating from roughly 45,000-65,000 years ago. These carvings are in an unknown language.
When any electronic device is within 200 feet of the "Tome", as researchers nicknamed it, the device will immediately malfunction, scrambling all signals,
and eventually short-circuiting.
However, this can be counter-acted by "Overstimulating" it, by shining 800 lumens of light directly at it.
It is unknown how, or why, this affects it the way it does, but it causes the Tome to become much lighter, (Roughly 27 pounds, compared to it's typical 460),
And it's effects will stop, and electrical devices will function again.
Research is going on as how to weaponize the Tome.
Addition : Small segments of the material inside, now identified as ■■■■■■■■■■■■-■■■■, are to be removed and dropped into opposing camps, military bases, etc, 10 hours
before any attack will commence.
